The Meghalaya Exporters Chamber Of Commerce (MECC) is a non profit organization established in 1995 under the Registrar Of Societies Meghalaya with its registered office at Nongrim Hills Shillong, Meghalaya but is currently operating from its administrative office at Langkyrding Mihngi Shillong,- 793001, Meghalaya, to promote, support and facilitate export activities from the State Of Meghalaya. The Chamber acts as a facilitation body for exporters by providing certification, documentation support, and trade-relate assistance.
MECC is authorized to issue Certificate Of Origin (COO) (Non-Preferential) and is integrating with the DGFT electronic platform, enabling exporters to obtain certificates in a transparent, efficient, and digitally enabled manner.

The Meghalaya Exporters Chamber Of Commerce (MECC) is a non-profit organization constituted with the objective of strengthening export trade from Meghalya and supporting exporterse in meeting regulatory and procedural requirements.
The Chamber works as a facilitation and support institution for exporters by assisting in certification, compliance, and export documentation. MECC is currently onboarding on the Directorate General Of Foreign Trade (DGFT) platform for issuance of Non-Preferential Certificate Of Origin (COO) in accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy and applicable DGFT guidelines.

CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN
Certifice Of Origin (COO)
A Certificate Of Origin (COO) is an important trade document that certifies that the goods being exported originate from India and specfically from the State of Meghalaya as applicable.
MECC shall issue Non-Preferential Certificate Of Origin through the DGFT electronic platform, ensuring authenticity, transparency and faster processing once the onboarding process is complete. Exporters can select MECC from the listed agencies while applying COO online through the DGFT portal in accordance with the prevailing Foreign Trade Policy and DGFT guidelines.

MECC is intergrating with the DGFT electronic platform for issuance of Certificate of Origin. This enables exporters to:
- Apply for COO online.
- Track application status digitally
- Ensure compliance with DGFT norms
- Receive certificates in a secure and transparent manner
All Certificates are issued strictly in accordance with DGFT notifications, circulars and prescribed procedures.
